Brisbane confirmed as host of the 2032 Games
Brisbane was awarded the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games by the International Olympic Committee in July 2021.
At the IOC Session on 21 July 2021, Brisbane and South East Queensland were elected as host of the Games of the XXXV Olympiad in 2032 — the third time Australia will host a Summer Olympic Games, after Melbourne 1956 and Sydney 2000. Podium 32 will track confirmed announcements, proposed plans and changes on the road to 2032, each clearly labelled with its status and source.
